Default anyone do a plug change on 2008 5.4
wondering what plugs i got the old or new ones,,,got 40,000 miles on er...engine was built in jan 08 ....tks

Yes, I changed mine about a month or two ago. It's no big deal, very straightforward. You have the new plugs so you will not have to worry about breaking any of them. Motorcraft part# SP509

Yeah you are good dude...I believe the cutoff was like November of 07' for the crappy 2-piece plugs.

EDIT: Yeah, sticky on top says November 9, 2007 and before had the plug issue.

the revised plugs will still break, not as common but they do still break.. the only 3c plug that does not break are the plugs in the newer 3vs. they went back to a traditional style plug
