Default Having problems starting my truck. any ideas

First want to say thanks this site has help me a lot thanks guys. Well my problem is that if my truck sits more then five mins without turning it on, it doesnt turn on i need to turn the key to the on position like three times and then turns on. I was told it was the fuel pump i bought it and in two weeks it started to do what i was explaning earlier. I got it replace cuz it had warranty and got it change it was find but then it started to do the same like the first time. They check it and they say it loses pressure when truck is off thats why it has a bad start. I try getting another pump but where i got it they say that it cant be there pumps cuz they brand new and tested. This is mt second brand new pump and does the same. I checked fpdm and it has some corrosion but not as bad as i seen like you guys post. Can that be the problem any ideas should i replace the fpdm. I have a 2005 lariat f150 5.4 let me know thanks

I would DEFINITELY suspect the FPDM. Mine was roached and had a huge hole in the back, BUT my buddies truck that I changed, barely had any corrosion and it was toast also. So with those symptoms your truck is having, I would check it for sure.

It sounds like it's not holding pressure with the key off. There should be enough residual pressure in the lines after you turn it off and it sits for a bit to start it, sounds like that pressure is bleeding off. Could be a leaky injector, I'd have them checked.

You say that the pump has been replaced, did you replace the pump or the whole assembly?

Yes I replace the entire pump completely and yes like you say when the key is off it loses pressure going to check the fuel injectors like you said, and going to check the web page how much I find the fpdm thanks

Well an update I switch the fpdm and it didnt do any changes, my truck keeps stalling when it hasnt been turn on for a while. It does turn on but I need to turn the key to the on position two times and hold for a couple of seconds and then it turns on, what usually helps the fuel pump to keep pressure and my truck is off, I have read about changing fuel filter but does that have to do with the pump losing pressure, open to any ideas and thanks reading thru this forum and learning things.

a clogged fuel filter will not allow your truck to hold enough pressure to start... why not change it and see...that would eliminate something...its only $10...if that don't help I would look at your fuel rail next..
