another wheel fitment question (yes I read the sticky)
so just making sure I've got this right, according to the sticky, on my 07 xlt 4x4, I should be able to run a 17x9" rim with a 5"bs (+/-0 offset) with a 35x12.5 tire with no rubbing so long as I do a minimum 2" level, right? I gotta get it right the first time because i cant afford to do it twice.
Just to be a little more specific on what i'm looking at her's what im looking to buy:

most likely the bottom of the front valance or some people call it the air dam..very easy to trim with a razor blade.. you may also rub the rear of your fender well plastic liner...you can take a heat gun to it and re-mold it inwards... last place it may rub is where the fender flare meets the bottom of the wheel well liner.

2004 Lariat 4x4
This is my '04 Lariat leveled 2-1/2 inches with 315x70x17 BFG's on 17x9 wheels with a 0 degree offset or 5 inches of backspacing. I had rubbing sometimes even after trimming so I went with 17x8 wheels with 5.5 inches of backspacing and that eliminated the rubbing. Wheels play a big part in being able to clear large tires. Raptor wheel specs are ideal to run 35's on a leveled truck...17x8.5 with close to 6 inches of backspacing.
