Default another keypad question

after killing my arms/hands getting the rear seat back out to get the numbers off the module, the 59506 does not open the door. 7/8 and 9/0 lock the door and the pad lights up when touched. am i missing something? (new owner of used truck, no owners manual, the usual drill) i had to go through s similar ritual with my 2002 lariat but i am not so lucky with the 2004 super crew xlt. i have searched and have done too much work to go to the dealership and get plugged in at this point. help

well i have a little info on this my truck did not come wit a key pad, but i wanted the factory on it looks cleaner then the stick on ones. so i installed it and i had to get it turn on. well before i did that i pulled the back seat and did wat u did. but it was the wrong code longstore short they had to make a code and lose that code on the box. so wat i am saying if that truck did not come wit one stock u just need to take it to a dealer and ur be good it might cost 20 i got my programd for like 30 dollars

I had the same issue, 4x4 wasn't engaging and took it to the dealership. Needed a new transfer case motor, $400 bucks later from the dealership...4x4 works perfect!
