another keypad question
after killing my arms/hands getting the rear seat back out to get the numbers off the module, the 59506 does not open the door. 7/8 and 9/0 lock the door and the pad lights up when touched. am i missing something? (new owner of used truck, no owners manual, the usual drill) i had to go through s similar ritual with my 2002 lariat but i am not so lucky with the 2004 super crew xlt. i have searched and have done too much work to go to the dealership and get plugged in at this point. help
well i have a little info on this my truck did not come wit a key pad, but i wanted the factory on it looks cleaner then the stick on ones. so i installed it and i had to get it turn on. well before i did that i pulled the back seat and did wat u did. but it was the wrong code longstore short they had to make a code and lose that code on the box. so wat i am saying if that truck did not come wit one stock u just need to take it to a dealer and ur be good it might cost 20 i got my programd for like 30 dollars
made trip to dealership, had a pats key made so i would have a pair and part of the deal was to retrieve the code. but alas they could not pull it out....said their software would not do it. now what? are these BSM's plug and play? will any BSM 04-08 work?
