Default Q for the badge swappers!!!!

So I was removing my fender badges so I can install my red appearance badges that will be in tomorrow. I was peeling off the old adhesive and it took a chunk of paint off with it. Question is. Will the new appearance badge completely cover this? I've already sanded and repainted it to keep it from peeling.

I dunno what the deal with the paint is on these newer trucks but mine is flaking off in huge chunks under the hood. I can't tell you if it'll cover or not. The new badges are a little slimmer so it may be hit or miss

Mine did this too on the passenger side.... Not nearly as bad though.... I was able to just use touch up and fix it....
