Walt the landscaper

Hi everybody,
I have a 2005 f250 with the 8ft bed. the bed rails are corroded so I was thinking of swapping the steel bed with a aluminum one. has anybody tried this swap? I have read alot of regular swaps -steel with steel, how about a aluminium swap.
and will the newer aluminum bed bolt up right?
I live up north were we use alot of salt on the roads, hence the reason I'm interested I the aluminum bed.

Here is a link to a thread a little further down the page. Not exactly the same but he may be able to answer some questions you might have. I'd make sure the body lines work together or it could look pretty bad. Keep us posted and if you decide to do it throw some pics on here. I'd like to see the finished product.
