If there are 2 options for each amp rating alternator (or 2, 110 amp and 2 115amp choices) it could be the connector on the back is the only difference. My searching shows alternators available with an oval connector or a "D" shaped connector.

1 is listed as Economy.. and the other is listed as OE Quality.. I would buy the OE Quality.

That's what I did several years ago, no issues and I run 2 amps, crossover, aux LED lighting, and tow trailers regularly and have had zero issues and still the same battery as I had when I had the failure.

Just my 2cents tho.
I've been all over eBay for the last 30 minutes and I can't find a brushes kit for the alternator. Do you have a direct link?

Besides a 'reman" shouldn't cost as much as a new component. They're shoving a stick up peoples asses by charging a $75 core. Some of these people need a shovel beside the head.
