for all you guys with CB'S

I have a magnet mount for my VHF radio... I ran the cable through the top of the brake/bed light... Use alot of silicone to seal the light back up because the wire does create a little gap (not visible). If its not sealed right you will have water leak through the roof (I know from experience). Now that it is properly sealed I am very happy with the install .
Anyway, after its through the light opening, I tucked it above the headliner along the back window and behind the plastic trim on the C post on the driver side... I have a 100w motorola trunk mount with a remote head so it made it a little easier cause I didnt have to go that far with the antenna wire. I mounted the trunk mount behind the rear seat, bolted to the rear wall where I connected the antenna.
If it warms up later I will go remove my trim and post some pics of my install... It was really easy and I didnt have to drill the roof like a bunch of other firefighter squirrels I know .

I mounted my antenna to the corner of the truck bed, drilled out one of the plastic pieces at the bottom of the bed. I ran the coax through the hole, tying it to the frame, and ran it in between the back door and cab, under the rubber door flashing.
