Default All doors unclocked when using key in door?

On all my prior cars I was unable to unlock all the doors when placing the key in the driverside door and holding in the unlocked position (same with locking)

Is this something that Ford has not implemented on this series of truck? I have an 06 Lincoln Mark LT

Hmm, I have never tried that. Did it work on any of your other Ford trucks?

I haven't tried it with mine, but try moving the key to lock or unlock position TWICE. The ranger was set up like that. the first time unlocked the drivers door, the second unlocked all doors.

I had an old Toyota that did that but I honestly don't think I have ever used the key in the door on my truck lol. I sure hope it actually works. Also the Toyota was turn it to unlock twice to unlock the other doors.

Just went out and tried it with the key. Only able to unlock the one door. Now I know!
