Ebay Long Tube Headers
So, I've been looking around at some LT options FOR MY 2004 4WD and came across a few new dealers on ebay:
tuning depot offers the OBX lt's with resonators and y pipe for $525
they also offer OBX lt's with hi flow catalytic converters for $695
Then, there is cooper813 that offers a "no name" LT with hi flow resonator for $495
Now, I know that racing parts depot has their ebay store, but with all the talk of their crappy customer service, I think I'm going to stray from them. Looking at the feed back of these companies / people, they don't seem much better, but I would give them a try.
Has anyone tried either of these companies or either of these setups?
I'm leaning towards the tuning depot setup with the catalytic converters - no resonators, then I was going to get a cat back system. My original plan was an x pipe with true duals, but I think I may scrap that.

I dont know the longtubes specifically for the F150 but I just put longtube headers on my Mustang and researched companies carefully before I purchased. OBX seems very hit or miss, 85% of people are completely happy with them, they bolted right up with zero issues. 15% of people said they got incomplete kits, wasnt a good seal, one pipe bent at slightly wrong angle so serious pain in the rear to install, ect ect.
Long tubes are EXPENSIVE no matter how you look at it. I considered American Racing, Kooks, BBK, just to name a few. I ended up going personally going with Pypes brand as seems a good value bang for buck. I ran an offroad H pipe they made for about 1.5 years and fit and finish on it was superb.
Just remember though, in the end, you get what you pay for. If it's TOO awesome a deal, there IS a reason why.

You just gotta know which parts to get. Racing parts depot was selling kits or is still selling kits that say they fit 4wd when they really dont. There some great info over on f150online, and I asked the same question there, but I wanted to ask here too, to see if anyone's used these specific kits.
These prices are actually pretty in line with other OBX prices, so I'm not worried that I'm getting what I'm paying for.
