The system will go off simply because the light is out. Part of it's self check. It has to see that resistance in the circuit.

Have you worked on your radio lately and unplugged that light? I always forget to plug it back in and get this error. Then have to take the dash back apart. As far as the bulb size I think it's like a t10, but not sure.

I'm talking about the one in my gauge cluster. It's been doing it the last 4 months. The passenger airbag light still works.

Right, I believe it's a t10 (not sure) and if it's burnt out, that will cause the system to not pass the self diagnosis.

I pulled the gauge cluster out last night pulled the arrows off the front pulled some screws out of the back and the cluster opened up the dummy lights are All tiny square LEDs in the circuit board. Fml no changeling them. So basically I just took electric tape and out over the dinger until I get a new cluster

So the only way to fix a bad light on the cluster is to replace the whole cluster?! I’m having this same issues with my airbag light. Where is it that I need to put electrical tape to stop this dinging? I’m going insane.

Airbag light is a soldered in led. Not a replaceable bulb like other parts of the cluster.
