i put the airaid intake on my truck thursday night, so far i have about 30 miles on it. according to my scangauge2, it seems like im getting worse mileage. but i had the battery disconnected because it said so in the instructions(i just dont understand why). so does the computer need to adjust, is there a break in period?

also, with the new intake its more noticeable when i let my foot off the gas to go around curves and then press the gas, it seems like it changes gears when i let off then press again. the intake makes a growling noise for a second then the truck shifts, is that normal?i can try to get a sound clip if it helps.

 

all of that crap is normal, get it tuned and you wont have any issues.

 

obusnizzle..... i am curious... what do you do for a living? I mean I dont think there is an area of these trucks that you dont know about... hate to say it but i am kinda impressed.
