Default Phaser, injectors or???

I bought my 2006 Ford F150 XLT Super Crew with 116k miles 2 weeks ago. Shortly after purchasing I noticed the notorious "tick" I've read everything from phasers to injectors and was even told it could possibly be a spark plug?

From everything I've researched I'm leaning toward phaser but how can I tell the difference between a bad injector or a bad phaser? My tick is all the time... Right at startup, idle and during acceleration.

Any ideas or input is appreciated!

Idk... Possibly? I don't know much about what's under the engine but the guy that said there was no exhaust leak didn't say anything about a possible manifold leak nor did my mechanic. What I do know is that the tick is coming from the driver side of the engine... Don't know if that helps?

I have a tick also. I'm pretty sure it's as manifold leak

I'll have my mechanic check the manifold when I take it in to have the spark plugs torqued correctly
