so no muffler at all, that seems like it would be loud when cruising at highway speeds?

I just have a piece of pipe welded where the muffler used to be and you hear the engine all the time, however it's still not really loud. I can have a conversation with my passengers or listen to the radio just as easily as if the system were stock. But I can imagine that sound would annoy some people.
your best bet is to go on youtube and search for f150's with different kind of exhaust setups and see which one sounds the best to you, then get that one.

Really not too bad I've got dual 3" exiting the right side in front of the rear tire with no muffler and the only time it drones is at 40 mph in over drive in town.

Before my current setup I had the Gibson super truck system. Best sounding cat back if you want a growl at wot and calm and quiet while cruising IMO.
