I have a Banks monster si/so system. Not really any drone at all and it's pretty quiet at high speeds. Driving around town it's got a nice growl to it. I dig it a lot and Banks says it wont kill your warranty; if you have one.

Take a listen to the magnaflow 12288. This is a clip from my truck... To me it's a great middle of the road muffler with no drone.
I deleted my 2 rear cats (still have both front cats), then had everything custom bent for this dual exit muffler.

I love my single flowmaster 2 chamber with 3" pipe all the way out. Sounds more aggressive than stock, but very smooth and not over bearing. Very nice rumble and I got it done for 200.00 out the door...

No problem man. I did a lot of research too on exhaust after my flowmasters rusted out. Banks was the best bang for the buck IMO.
Whoever owned my truck before me put on cheap aluminized steel pipes. If you get snow where you live be sure to get stainless steel so you don't have to replace the pipes in 3-4 years. The salt will rust the out of your pipes! Let us know what you got with.

I'm running true dual cherrybomb extreme mufflers and have them dumped before the rear axle, they sound great and definitely let people know your coming when you get on it.
