I've got 2 questions. First one is Can I hook up a different amp to the factory subwoofer? Second one is a dumb question but want to make sure before i spend the money. Will the factory subwoofer for the 04-08 sit under neath the back seat?

Yea the factory sub and box goes under the back seat. And as far as the amp I dunno but don't see why not
