Default After market sun roof install

So i have been reading around alot lately about installing an after market sun roof in my truck, i heard that Webasto was the best brand to go with. So today i bought my truck to tops unlimited and got the Webasto 790, the guy doing it has been doing only sunroofs for 31 years. Wondering if anyone else has done this mod? how do you guys like it? ill post pictures once i pick up the truck.

ya i read about leaks but i have read reviews from his shop of people of have own them for a while and say they dont have any problems with leaks, and if it leaks, i have a warranty so they repair what ever it breaks. also i paid 1,095 cash people may say they can do alot of other mods with that money but im running out of mods on my truck, im super excited to see how it turns out

From what I understand, even the OEM sunroofs leak, but they've been designed with the proper drainage and water management integrated into the vehicle itself. An aftermarket sunroof isn't as well designed, I'm sure.

You'll find its 50/50 love-hate with sunroofs. Personally I love my sunroof and I'm going to make sure my next truck has one again. My girl had one installed in rav 4 years ago and it performed perfectly, never leaked. Hope your's works as well, enjoy that warm sun.
