Additions to my Fx4
So in the past few weeks I have bren getting a few new things for my truck. The first is a custom decal from aftershockdecals.com that replaces the old Fx4 logo on the rear bed panel. The next thing was the exciting yet dreaded tow mirrors, yes the power ones and yes I wired in the turn signal but not the puddle lamp, my dads truck had that and I could care less. The last thing I did was sand and paint my tow hooks. I saw a red truck just like mine that had the same thing done and it actually looks pretty good. So what do ya'll think?

Built FORD Tough!
A yellow Fx4 flareside!!! I love that combination, that's what I wanted but couldn't find one.
I painted my tow hooks silver a while back to match my truck. Painting them the color of the truck makes them stand out nice! I can't wait until I get some tow mirrors... How did you wire the turn signals in?
Sick truck!

The tow mirrors are actually simple to wire. All you have to do is cut the black ground wire on the truck's wiring harness, push the pin slightly up and then pull it out. Then place it in the pin slot that lines up with the black ground wire for the mirror. Sorry i don't remember the specific slots. Then just solder it back together or use a butt connector. You only have to do this wiring procedure for the driver side. After the one side both turn signals and hazards worked perfectly. For the tow hooks all you have to do is take them off the truck with the two bolts. Be careful not to lose the bolt plate inside the frame rails. Sand them with a corse metal sand paper then a very very fine grit sand paper. Then I used 3 coats of a rustoleum paint with a built in primer. Then finally a clear coat. Then just reinstall. I hope this helps! Let me know if you need more details.
