Default Adding Power Package

Hey, I want to add Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors. to my truck. Any Idea of a good way to do this. Im not asking for a cheep way. I dont want to put up with those nasty power window motors.

I have a 2007 Standard Cab STX.

Switches - Either buy a switch kit from A1electric or buy used OEM door panels with switches

Window Motor - Buy OEM or OEM replacement motor/regulator assemblies (ford4wd08 did this recently)

Lock actuator - A1electric.com

Mirrors - I think you can retrofit the powered mirrors, this will probably be the biggest pain because of wiring. Do you just want the look of the power mirrors? If so, you could probably stick them on and not wire them up, you'd just have to manually adjust them.

yep i did the mirror swap as well. just leave them un-powered too much of a hassle for what you gain. easily adjusted by hand. i got my keyless off ebay for 30 bucks and still works great. so ive basically done everything you wanted to do.

I have a set of Power (no signal, no heat, no pwr fold) that I fully smoothed, no texture, no seams. I have one completed, another I have to add another coat of Bondo to fill some minor gaps. I can happily sell these to you if you are in the market for some custom smoothed power only mirrors. I can email you pics of the finished mirror if you want when I get home... Good luck on the Power Package Upgrade... you'll love that truck like it was new im sure.

Hey,

I already have the power mirrors, unpowered. I just thought they looked alot better.

I am looking for a set of OE door panels. but they need to be from a standard cab or a crew cab, the super cabs are too big.

thanks

Default Done

Well I got it all done... Here is pics of the door trim panels.. but, they look just like factory ones, because I used factory parts.

Except for the power locks, they are just cheapos from eBay.
