Default AC / oil smell

Hello
Recently whenever I used my AC in my 2004 I am smelling an oil. I know I recently had an oil change, is it possible they spilt some where the air intake is and that's all I'm smelling?
I don't smell it when I press the circulate button, or MAX AC.
The AC isn't working it's best, either. After a while it just starts to blow humid air.
Thanks!

Default Could be an ac leak on your evaporator

That's the cold part in your dash if the coil is bad some ac oil will come out with the charge . You may not notice it when on max because of more volume of air . Your outside intake air is right there where wipers are at so yes if someone sets oil up there or spills it it could do that . You can wash that area out with dawn . Some engine smells come into cabin thru this intake . If you have a loose plug you can smell gas from the blowby .
Once the charge is too low the ac clutch will not click on . So watch your clutch on compressor and see if it is coming on and off .
On recirculate --outside air is not used . Sounds to me like you may need some ac work done .
