I just used seafoam though the gas tank in my truck, and I can really tell a difference. It actually seems more responsive than it used to.

I have a Jeep that had a very loud lifter. I tried every additive that I could find but nothing help. Valve Medic worked for a little while but not long. I then put Seafoam in the oil and drove it for about 30 miles, changed the oil and no more noisy lifter. That was three oil changes ago.

I use seafoam normally every month or so in both of my rides and never an issue. I like the product and use it in everything that runs on gasoline that I own.

For about 2 decades I've always used 2 ounces of mystery oil per cylinder at every oil change.

Is seafoam simillar to Mystery Oil?

Yes it is proven to work if you add it into a vacuum line because as it begins to work and clean your engine you will feel your truck idle down and white smoke will start coming out of your tail pipe. Once all this drama is over you know you have removed all the carbon buildup inside your engine and you can feel the difference in throttle response.

So if seeing if believing then take the white smoke and upgraded throttle response as proof!

I would do half in the gas tank with about a half tank of gas and then do the other half down a vacuum line if your truck really needs the clean. If not just do it all in the gas tank but make sure you have a full tank if you do that.
