abs light

Ok, so my abs light came on yesterday and i'm curious what common issues might cause the light to turn on

I've visually inspected the breaks and cant see any problems on the rotors/calipers and the truck stops just as good now as when the light was off

So to sum it up, light is on and there are no visible issues or any difference in braking performance

Prob sensor i had a truck like yours and my abs light was on i replaced the sensor on the rearend was about a 10 min job max. About $20 for the sensor. And i think its about a 8mm bolt but dont hold me to it. It was about a year and a half ago. But that made my light go off.

O and i was told that those sensors on the back are bad for going out cause they get mud and stuff in it.

Thank-you, i'll probably do that this weekend

Yeah the rearend ABS sensor is the one known to most go bad.
