Unhappy ABS and Brake light on! need help!

so heres my problem guys, a few weeks ago me and my dad were on a road trip and a fuse blew in my truck and we had to get them replaced but we were in the middle of the desert so we just pulled over and looked a fuse we didn't need that was the same as the fuse that blew and we decided to pull the abs pump fuse but we also pulled the other abs fuse (there's two of them) because we didn't want to mess up the system after that the lights came on and we dismissed them because we knew we had pulled the fuses and the truck ran fine for the rest of the trip but now I bought the same fuses for the abs and installed them again and the lights wont go away! I don't know what's wrong, I know I have the right fuses..so how do i fix this?

It may take some ignition cycles to reset everything. Go and have the codes read first. That or try and clear the codes. Or, you may have done some real damage to the system.

disconnect your battery ... touch the ends together and re- connect.. let it sit for 15-20 mins after disconnect

Your local parts store should have a code reader and be able to clear them.

Or just pick up a super cheap scanner from Amazon so you always have it on hand to read and clear codes.

I'd rather spend the money on mods. Especially when the auto parts stores check & clear for free.
