Smile ABS

I know its probably been posted before, but I am having ABS issues. A while back I replaced the tires and it went off but than the light would come on and off every little while. Now it is just staying on, but I still have function-ability of my cruise control. And before spending money on parts that I don't need was looking for some help to see if I can get pointed in the right direction and what would have to be replaced.

Thanks!

you will need a scanner to determine if its a sensor(which wheel), sensor circuit or a communication issue. without these you will be hunting for a while but doesnt hurt to check each ABS sensor wires at each wheel end.

I scanned my 2005 F-150 FX4 and the code that it presented to me was C1230 which I know is the one in the rear but is it just the sensor or is it the whole thing cable and sensor?
