I have a 06 f150 with a 4.6 and need help with mods!! i have been a 302 guy and im having a hard time finding parts for a 4.6 all i can find is mostly 5.4!! should i get a mustang 4.6 and mod it or do they enter change? would like to upgrade the headers, heads for higher RPM's, in take and what ever has worked for you guys i open to all suggestions and gas mileage is no consurn and i run 91 octane anyway!

 

I have the 4.6. I put K&N CAI, Exhaust, and Edge Evolution Tuner. That combo has done wonders for my truck

 

i got a cat back 2.5 exhaust with flowmaster out the back, K&N drop in air filter! Just put a custom tune today and droped my 0-60 time by 2.5 seconds! its probably lower than that it raind and i broke loose off the start. still a 2.5 sec. drop and its pullin hard! i thinking about 4.10 or 4.30 in the rear!

 

I am still looking for a supercharger for the 4.6l. I don't have the money to buy one but I really want one lol

 

yea all i have found is 5.4, not sure if the one for a mustang can fit! i would by one it they do and i have also looked into the sts turbo kits

 

someone said they used a vortec supercharger for one of our trucks, it looks like a turbo but has a pulley in it....

 

vortec makes great products anyone know how high the red-line is on the 4.6 i dont have a tach in my dash!

 

ask your custom tuner... you said that you just installed a custom tune...

 

hes a chevy guy i work with him he has hp tuner, i work with him and he charged me 100 dollars to do it and this is why i asked
