Replace Motor Mounts 04 f150
Mechanic told me I have a bad motor mount on my 2004 F150 5.4. Is changing a motor mount on the truck complicated? Can I do it with a standard floor jack, lift the motor a little and swap? Its on the drivers side, mine as well replace both while I am at? Please any feedback is appreciated

Hasn't been a common problem around this forum. I bet someone has though. I would think its pretty straight forward. support the engine with a jack, and replace the mount.

I've been a part of replacing a few motors in these trucks, and, I will say....replacing a mount is NOT as straightforward as one might think.....really, really stupid design and tough to get lined up right.

Nothing is straight forward on these engines. The entire 5.4 is a stupid design IMO
