Did you really just say a 2wd truck is just a car on steroids? Like really man? You do realize your 4wd truck is always in 2wd until you take it off road or you are in a tight spot and need to put it in 4wd. Even then how often do you even have to switch into 4wd when off road? You really should not have to switch that often unless you are pretty bad at it and cant hack it in 2wd. And for that matter does you truck at least have limited slip? If not its pretty much a 2wd truck the second you put it in mud snow or ice, because power will only be going to two of your wheel.

Now before you make an ***** of yourself again think about what you are saying, think about what a truck is, and then just shut up because it would probably be in your best interest anyway. You pretty much just said a 2wd f-350 dually is just a car, when that truck could out haul and outperform your truck anyday. I would feel pretty embarrassed if my truck just got out hauled by a car. hahah

I dont really know why you feel the need to cut other people trucks down when you have a pretty sick truck yourself.

Thanks for your honest opinion 05FX4... LOL...
If some of you are interested, "sickF1fifty" has a 2WD sitting on a 6" Pro Comp Stage 1. Looks pretty sharp. Appears that he has no trouble with rubbing. However, I am assuming it will have everything to do with the "workable" offset and backspacing of the choice of rim, as well as that he is running 9" wide rims as opposed to my wanting to run 10" wide.

I agree w/ the post BigRedXLT. You shouldnt be cutting another man down for his truck purchase choice. Just because you have 4wd on your truck, doesnt mean its a "truck" truck. Subaru's have AWD, does that make them trucks? And a 2WD can be just as capable as a 4WD with the proper locker/wheel/tire/lift setup.

I think you should be able to fit these rims and tires on the Stage 1 6 inch kit with the possibility of rubbing on your lower valance in which case you can just trim it. You rim specs are not much different than mine except for your rims being 10 inches wide as opposed to my 9 but the mud grapplers that you are putting on are only 12.50 inches wide and I have 13.50 inch wide tires.

Thanks for comin on over to my thread and providing your comments SickF1fifty. I suppose that if it looks right, I could drop to 34's or 33's... but 33's may look pretty small on that lift huh?
I may never know until I just mount everything and see if it works. I may go with the 9" too. Just wanting that bulldog look as much as I can. So... as wide as I can go.

Thanks for the info guys. Once I've figured all this out, I'll post before and after pics. And if anyone else has the same setup or similar, please chime in.

Why would you want to lift a 2wd?
