Now who told you that rough country and fabtech are the same lifts and everything.False info.Fabtech is far more superior to that of rough country.Better designed parts,better machined.if you have doubts,go to eachs web sites and compare both lifts.Fabtech is worth the money.Now yes rough country is still in business and ya fabtech is not,but thats because when new ownership took over,they let it go to hell and,got rid of allot of their senior personal to save money thinking they could cut corners with workmanship with less than qualified ppl(kinda like what the gouks,chinese do)So then sales started slipping and they went out of business,but not before allot of merchants bought their lifts from the original owners.Now yes its not cheap,but it far exceeds rough country.Like i said,just compare and you will see for yourself.

Well that could depend on the tires your running,the rims your running.Shocks your running things of that nature.But if you ran everything stock say with 17inch rims and stock tires.The fabtech would sit alittle higher than the rough country.Not by much,but you would notice when you mount and dismount your truck.

Ok thanks man is that the same with pro comp and all the others cause I really wanna get most lift out of a 6" lift and I just wanna know which of all the lifts sit the highest or if they are all the same. Between skyjacker fabtech procomp or any of the others which ones gonna sit me the highest with stock everything 17 rims and 35's?

Personally if I owned a 4WD and had the money I would go with an 8" Rize. Since you say you want a 6" and don't want to break the bank I'd go with Fabtech. Are you prepared for all the associated costs though such as upgraded tires and new gearing? The problem with modding is once you start there is no end.

Well don't go with a sky jacker IMO.Now the pro comp stage 2 sits at the same hight as the fabtech does.Fabtech you can use stock tires and wheels,but with the pro comp,I'm not sure.look up a guy names Atom on here and he can tell you for sure.Yes 35's would go nice and fill in the wheel wall more.Like he said,you could go with the 8inch rize,but its not cheap.Also like he said,are you prepared for the costs that could go with a 6inch lift??Now if you don't off road that much,you wont have much costs,but if you want to off road allot,the you will have maintenance costs to factor in when you purchase your lift.Now you don't always have to re-gear with 35's,but it would help if you did,so thats also what ya want to figure in when you purchase a lift lift kit........If you dont really want to break the bank,go with a 4inch Rancho with 35's and you will sit high enuf.Also the 4inch Rancho doesnt change your trucks symentry all that much,as to wear a 6inch lift changes it more and puts more stress on your truck.

You really won't have to worry about too much maintenance costs as long as you don't abuse your truck too much while offroading. Regearing will cost you about $1400.

I was happy with my 4inch lift kit with 35's that i had on my previous truck.I also said the 4inch as it wont break his bank.But yes,allot of ppl only wished they went higher after seeing theirs lifted.Lets face it tho,the average person does abuse his truck when he off roads it,lol.Even if he doesn't mean to,he does it,so hence the maintenance cost.i know i sure as hell abused mine when i off roaded it,lol.But then again that was me and i could afford maintenance costs,lol.
Now if i remember right,you had yukon gears in your truck right?You ever think about getting another truck and lifting it?
