Default 5 years and 83k miles later...

and I still love this truck. Normally I get bored with a vehicle or sick of it but haven't gotten to that point with this one.

I bought it in February 2009 with 48k and it now has almost 132k.

Its been a really good truck so far, just a few minor issues along the way but nothing too bad. Still runs good and looks pretty good with the exception of some rust bubbles on the 1/4's that I had fixed once already (got screwed over by the bodyshop, not the truck's fault the second time around).

Here it is the day I bought it:

Here it is a few months ago (too dirty for new pics):

That's awesome man! I'm in the same boat. And plan to run my truck into the ground.

Same plans Ive got. Im shooting for atleast 200k.
This truck is paid off and after seeing what a new truck costs, even a used truck I think I'll just keep this one around and avoid having a huge truck payment every month. I paid off the loan last summer and have been enjoying not having a payment to make on a truck.

Thanks.

Ive made a few changes to the truck like removing the decals (they were peeling), replaced the ugly cheap looking chrome wheels with a set of factory aluminum wheels, leveled it 2", put on bigger tires and added a trifold tonneau cover (taken off in the newer pic, didn't have at the time in the first one). Theres also 2 lights in the grille.
Its also got an Edge Evolution programmer.

Its done everything Ive needed it to do from hauling my atv to towing a few cars to hauling dirt and scrap.

I paid mine off a year and a half early just because I was sick of the monthly payment hanging over my head.

I know I'll never get a deal like I got on this truck again. I see trucks the same age as mine with twice the mileage I bought it with going for around the same price I paid for it when it was 3 years old.
