Default towing info and scangauge ?

Wanted to post this for the guys that ask do you think i can tow this . 2005 f150 5.4l 3v truck just picked up my camper 28' 6000lbs 2 hour trip home . readings on my scangauge rpm 2700, tmt (transmission tem.) 165 at it's highest, wt (water temp.) 195f at it's highest. Tempature today here is 65 degrees hope i helped .

quetion on my scangauge can any one explain what lod (Engine loading) means on the gauge? thanks

That's a reasonable load to pull IMO. it's when people push the scale to 8500# camper and load it up that is pushing the envelope of the truck and safety. 2/3's or so of the max tow rating is a safe way to play it. now if you tow a 9k pound camper 5 miles, that totally different scenario that cross country.

From what i understand with the scanguage is that it tells you hard your engine is working via a percent, so higher the %, harder your engine is working. A buddy used to have one of those, but he sold it after i let him borrow my edge for a trip....IMO if the scanguage was more visually appealing and more compact, they would sell alot more of them
