Better be willing to wait bc it will take you Months to get your tunes from Troyer....then again with everyone going toward the new EB, the wait might not be near as bad as years ago.
As far as I know I haven't heard his name mentioned on the EB forums.

I've tried almost every big name tuner there is for our 5.4s except for troyer and my vote goes to MPT.
Mike had me do some data-logging for him and he got the tune dialed in perfect for me...night and day difference from the other vendors I've tried.

The other tunes I tried still had dead-spots in acceleration when the torque converter would go to disengage, to drop a gear and accelerate.
Well not with Mike's tune....you stomp the gas and it immediately drops a gear and takes off!

Look up AED...... Sean is a great tuner. He does remote tunes.... You find a quiet road or go to the drag strip.... Make a pull. Email him the data log info.... He will adjust the tune and email it back. You make another data log pull and email it back ect.....ect....ect... Until your tune is done..... Sean normally has it done in 2-3 data logs........ The only other tuner that I'd do a remote tune from is Eric Brooks at Brookspeed.

I was actually talking about Mike at "more power tuning".

5* was actually the worst one with torque converter lag...he even sent me a revision that did no better so I moved on to other vendors.

I wanted to try out AED but after spending so much on tunes from various vendors, it's hard for me to pull the trigger on buying another tune that might not get my satisfaction in the end over what I currently have.
I finally found one that I enjoy after many failed attempts and wasted money. Plus hopefully I'll be upgrading to an ecoboost within the year so I'll be buying tunes again before too long.

oh damn hahaha. I like my tune from Mike at 5star, when I stomp on it it drops down gear instantly and flies.

What kind of tune does troyer do? Does he do data logging like AED does?

MPT how do you all do the tunes? I have a supercharger and will be putting a 2.80 pulley.. I also wanted to buy a cold air intake but troyer told me that it wouldnt add horsepower because the intake that the roush truck came with was about the same. Is this true?
