I have a 2004 xlt 5.4 triton that decided to blow apart the cams and who knows what else at the moment. Trying to avoid a ford re-mfd. engine but not sure what other route I can take other than a junkyard motor. Is a crate motor from summit an option or no? I'm sure there are a few guys that have swapped on here...Thanks!

You can buy re-mans from several places from Jasper to auto zone.. who will be doing the removal and installation ? They should have a say in what your choice will be for warranty reasons.
