low RPM's while driving 05 5.4 rwd
Hello once again everyone. I noticed in the last day or two that my truck make a low grumbling noise at about 1200 rpm's. It usually has ran at 2k rpm's but lately once I get to 40mph it drops down to 1,100/1,200 and slowly starts to climb until it hits about 60 mph and drops back down to 1100 rpm's. All this is happening on a light foot. If I press the gas down somewhat hard it runs at about 2k. The truck seems to be running fine other than what I mentioned above. Anybody ever have this issue?

Not sure I'm following you completely so forgive me if I seem off here.
So, it usually is at 2k RPM's at 40 MPH?
At 60 mph now, it's at 1100 til you press the gas, then it's staying at 2k?
Im kinda lost on this one.
My truck is running 73-75mph at 2K RPM's give or take.
So, at 40, in OD, it's probably around 1400 I'd guess. 3rd gear at same speed......maybe 2k.
A lil more info and I may be able to provide more insight.

Truck vibration while driving at 50 and 70mph
My 2015 15 3.5 100,000k miles also started doing this a few weeks ago. Starts to vibrate in short pulses at 1500rpms.
I feel it it in the steering wheel. It will randomly doing it so it’s not constant.
Anyone find a solution ?

You're in the wrong forum to get an answer to your issues. This is for 11th gen 2004-2008 trucks with 4.2, 4.6 and 5.4 engines.
