I use a pair of these for most every filter I've ever had to change, they can get into most anywhere.

I've been using an aluminum crush washer for over 50k. Never replaced it, no leaks... lol

Why even mess with a drain plug.. install a Fumoto drain valve and never look back. Been on every vehicle i have owned.. makes oil changes soo much easier.

I guess the Fumoto never really appealed to me. Then again, I do all my own oil changes so the plug is never stripped, nor over tightened.

Just flip the spring loaded lever.. no tools required. don’t even get oil on my fingers.
