They aren't "two piece" they are just a normal sparkplug and what came up in the little info box on the shelf and the same p/n another book told me.

Folks, stickys, especially this one are for posting valuable information on a subject, and we ask that you not post questions in it. I deleted posts from this in an attempt from it getting too huge, as it becomes difficult to find the information it was intended for. We are trying to keep specific stickys as "information" sticky posts". There are a few that we allow comments on; those that are associated as personal project builds...
Please start a seperate post for questions. Post only pertainant data in a sticky that pertains to the subject. Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks Gatorb8 for all the help. Now what plugs would you recomend for replacement? Denso iridiums, motocraft, E3, autolight, or? I have an 06 F150 5.4 V8 3 valve

DIY
doing mine today.... driver side, 3 broken 1 intact.....
i have the lisle tool, but now im trying to understand what part of the procedure apply to what kind of shape of broken...
its going to be a large afternoon
lisle tool worked fine for the first one, but i'm getting a 15/16 deep socket to be able to do the last one.... (i only had a 15/16 wrench)
how do you use the lisle tool with the second case?
***UPDATE:
I used a long reach plier and some additional pb blaster to remove the top part, then the lisle tool using just the second part of the instructions (as there is no ceramic that needed to be push).
next day, after a lot of soaking, i did the passenger side. i removed the computer (fast and simple, just disconnect the battery, then unplug the 3 large connectors, then remove the 4 bolts) and that gave me all the space that i needed to access the last spark plug. i only break on in the passenger side
and i already got confident using the lisle tool, so i removed that right away.
new champions are in, no more hesitation between 45-55mph, smoother idle, and no more worry about having the motorcraft spark plugs inside... life is good.
thank you for all the advice and the info in this forum. thank you guys

I had one break like the second one as well. You will be using the Lisle tool the same as you did for the others. The only thing that The Lisle tool does is remove the ground electrode shield that gets stuck in the head.

um, I cant tell if the e3.70 plugs are available anymore or not?
I want one piece plugs and these seemed the cheapest.
oreillys couldnt get them special ordered...
went on summit yesterday and found them. then looked today and the brief summary pops up but when you click to expand it, it says page not found.
so I searched by make/model, then 5.4, then spark plug, and its no longer showing a listing...did they discontinue them or something?
