Where/how did you disconnect that hose from the brake booster?

nevermind.... lol figured it out hahah.

Seafoam is in the brake booster, just waiting to start her up again in about 20min. I will keep you posted

Did you rev it up a couple times right after introducing it to the booster? That is key before shutting it down and waiting. The waiting lets it "soak" into the cylinders and tops of the pistons. We want to get the intake before it has a chance to settle inside the engine.

Cant say I did that. I used half a bottle and introduced it slowly into the line. The last 1/3 rd, I poured in rapidly causing rpms to drop, then I shut it off quickly to let that amount sit on top the cylinder head.

I just started her back up, cant say it smoked too much. One little puff and that was it... Borescope says IMRC is still froze. Truck is idling now, Im going to go open it up here in a few minutes

If you have the other half of the can, introduce it to the booster and rev her high 2 or 3 times immediately after, all the while letting the truck run before ever shutting it down. Holding the rpms at 3k or so after starting will smoke her out.

Well, just got back from driving like a mad-man... flushing the seafoam out of the truck.

I cleared the code and drove about 8 miles. The code did not come back. However... the borescope reveals that the actuator still does not move.

I was not able to video another f150, but it absolutely moves with the throttle body. Mine still does not.

I will keep an eye on it and see if the code comes back.

Edit: I just used the other half of the bottle, gave it 3 good revs and then shut it down.

Keeping my fingers crossed. I am not sure how soon or warm the temps need to be for the runners to start operating.

Sorry to report, but after 2 seafoam treatments P2006 still comes up. Bore scope verifies that IMRC is inoperative.

Well it was worth a shot. How much is a new actuator?

Ford DTC Codes:

P2004 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open Bank 1
P2005 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open Bank 2
P2006 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Closed Bank 1
P2007 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Closed Bank 2
P2008 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit/Open Bank 1
P2009 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit/Open Bank 2

Although - as I said - I have not a clue how the PCM could make such a finite determination based on the apparent design of the system. I've seen others with code P2007 ect. But as you said, "THE DAMN THING APPEARS STUCK!". Who cares which bank since they are linked together solid at the IMRC actuator. The fix seems to be the same either way. :whistling2:

One final thing. I had to take my IM back off twice before I learned the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator, the CMRC actuator wires, AND the CHT wires go in "FRONT" of the Bank 1 CMRC linkage nearer the back of the manifold - NOT on the firewall side like it looks like it would. NOTE: second photo in post #8.

Good luck

Ah ha! I was just going off of what the edge said for trouble codes. I see now!

I went to the stealership and they wanted $138 for the actuator, and $90 a piece for the manifold gaskets.

I paid $91 for the actuator (amazon), and $18 each for the gaskets (ebay), all ford genuine parts. None of that dorman crap.

F150torqued, check your pms.
