Default 5.4 timing chain stretch measurement

Does anyone know the service limit of the timing chain? Or does anyone know what a new timing chain measures, like in the picture below?

I bought the truck with a locked up motor. Someone replaced a cam and timing guides. I am assuming the chain as well but it doesn't look very new. Whoever replaced the guides left the ford oem stickers on the guides. One sticker came off and stopped up the oil pickup, causing 4 bearings to seize to the crank.

Would like to use these chains if they were just replaced.

Thanks for the help!

I always measured timing chain play by turning the engine over by hand until the pistons start to move, then turning it the opposite direction, and counting the degrees until the pistons move again. Not sure of the specs for the 5.4

Leaving the stickers on timing guides... whoever did that was pretty boneheaded.

If you're ponying up money for a new motor, it's best to just have the peace of mind and put new chains in.
