Actually I did. Turns out I bought the wrong extractor tool. One is easy and one is crap. I tried myself for several hours and couldn't get the thing out.

i use champ 7989 one piece and have been for over 150 k. i change every 50k and have never had a problem or miss. the stories about them being junk is way over stated.
