Yes bad fuel pumps do that too.
I had wifes cressida drive me nuts with intermittent fuel pump . Pulled it out of tank tested it fine put it back same intermittent . Toyota wanted 800 bucks drove 100 miles found junk yard 50 bucks all better .
There is a fuel pump relay on my 05 mounted on rear of power passenger side panel . supposed non servicable . You replace panel ? I looked for it when I replaced all injectors-- never saw it .
Have you replaced fuel filter?

Found the pressure sensor thanks. No I haven't changed the fuel filter...but it is so intermittent. I'm gonna change it though.
I've downloaded "DashCommand" for iphone and have a wifi OBDII reader so I'll start data logging the fuel rail pressure and other important displays. Hopefully it'll do it again and I can get some definitive data.
