hey guys, i have a 2006 ford f150 with the 5.4 engine. I seemed to have developed a slight vibration(very slight) mabey better described as a roughness in the throttle pedal and overall engine bay. Just seems like the truck isnt running top notch like it did a week ago. Now, i have used nothing but sunoco fuel and exxon fuel. the last three tank fulls i have been forced to use a different brand of fuel from a "no brand name" place called wawa, wawa is a food market. Could using different gas really cause this weird roughness/vibration in the engine?? the truck runs awesome other then that.

I use wawa gas too. I heard its all from the same refineries as bp but they just use special detergents

But my truck does run allot better on bp.

do you notice a roughness at all in your throttle when you accelerate?

Not really. Or I'm just used to it. Haha. Try going back to your normal gas station after this tank. Where are you located?

im located about 30min outside philadelphia. Yeah, i'm hoping its just the gas im using these past couple times. Mabey there is water in the gas or its just not igniting correctly causing a roughness in the engine. I have heard to stay away from wawa gasoline from alot of people in my area.

I'm up in central jersey and everyone gets wawa around here haha.
