Spend a few hours watching the 5.4, 3 Valve playlist.
You'll learn more than you need to know.

I'd rather spend a few hours watching this sexy Russian that keeps lighting up my phone.

But thank you.
I have 5.4 fatigue.

I'd like to believe its the plugs or the ecm, but the timing codes were thrown as well...

I really want to drive to my tennis date with the Venezuelan fitness model next week - with this truck. If you go to the magazine rack... look for the hottest Latin fitness girl on the cover - that girl.

I'll post the codes tomorrow when I get it back here.

I figured to clear the ECM with the battery/alligator clip method and that should get me 5 miles a time.

If he was rich it would have been reman'ed by now .Yes he must be in those glory years but I don't envy his exposure, get a one good woman at a time, even princess's get std's .
With that sludge and loss of oil flow its not a timing problem ,its damaged phasers or aftermarket phasers ,which I would not fix until oil flow fixed . Sounds like a bad head too .
Its a real candidate for a reman .

Okay, I thank you for your speculation(s). And no I am not rich at the moment. Just... at the right place - at the right time.

The 2004 F150 is now DOA.

After the timing job, it refused to run and threw
P0171 - Lean Bank 1
P0012 - Intake cam shaft position timing - Bank 1
P0340 - Cam shaft position sensor circuit malfunction
P0022 - Intake cam shaft position timing - Bank 2
P0345 - Cam shaft position sensor circuit malfunction

It let me drive it up to get gas about 5 miles and drove fairly well. Then it drove 3 miles and began to get rough.

It now refuses to let me start it at all. I cleared the ECM and it's like gas and spark are not there. It's just dead. Charge to the battery but no ignition.

Is it the timing?
Or possible my buddy didn't clean/adjust the sensor. and or something else. He swears the timing is right.

I think the ECM maybe bad and just throwing codes... like a bad processor. I've had this before.

Kindly, what would you do? The Ford guy at Autozone even walked away shaking his head...

I really need to be in Miami on Thursday next week... relaxed and smooth... with this truck. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'd like to check the timing without labor expense, much less taking everything off the front of truck...

I'm okay if Bill Ford (William Jr) reads this and says... "Hey Bro... I'm sorry we made that particular year. Here is a new truck for your inconvenience, loyalty and dedication."

I expect to compression test the cylinders and add and oil pressure gauge to understand what is going on...

Right now the truck doesn't even turn over... much less start... or run... or drive.... What would you do?

You need Torque Pro, a Bluetooth Adapter and dielectric grease to get that thing going.

This thread has officially jumped the shark. That picture looks like it was taken in 2004 with a Motorola Razr.

I had to crop the photo. I'm happy to post an updated one next week!

I've got the Bluetooth connector coming from Amazon. And I'll be downloading Torque Pro when the connector arrives.

What is the grease for?

The Girl?
