Default 4x4truckleds bulb position

Which is the correct way to position the 4x4truckleds.com headlight bulbs in my 08' KR so I don't get the dreaded glare?

They should have came with a diagram. But I have mine installed with the diode/bulb sitting in the cup/cutoff shield. So basically the cutoff shield is under the diode when looking at it head on.

Perhaps 4x4truckleds.com would know that answer?

This is my horrible drawing of how a reflector lens works. Yellow lines would be your dims and blue your brights. For my LEDs they are a 2 sided setup. 4 LEDs total 2 on each side it uses one side only for dims and both sides for brights. Therefore I want my dims only side to be on top so the light reflects downward away from oncoming drivers eyes. If you have the ones im thinking of they have a little cupped shroud on the back side of the LED this would cut the light off for even the dims light the might reflect more upwards as shown by the green lines in my drawing. Hope this makes sense and helps out.

Yep. Correct way.

The LEDs should come present in the correct possition. You shouldn't have to adjust.

Do you have the diodes aimed towards the grill or the outside of the housing?

They should be neither. They should be aimed at 12 o clock and 6 o'clock with the low beam diode (with the shield) being at 6 o clock.
