4x4 stopped working

What if only 4H light comes on and no 4L but hear the click?

If it were me I would split the problem in half. Figure out if it's in the truck or under the hood. Unplug the harness from the IWE solenoid and hook up a volt meter to the harness. See it you get voltage when you turn the switch. At least then you'll know where to go next.

Yes the lights work on startup. I swapped out the 30A fuse w/o change. I also swapped with each other the two 30A RELAYS w/o change. Advance didn’t have in stock so I couldn’t try a new relay. Do those two relays have different functions and if either one dies you get no action?
