Before I get to far I know the usual responses of its not for the model year or with major modification are going to appear but, I found a really good deal on a brand new westin hdx grill guard for an 09-11 f150, so my question is there any chance it could fit an 04. The style and size are pretty close I just don't know if its close enough to work. I honestly haven't looked at the way they mount or know enough about the newer models to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated

Depends how cheap, cheap is.

A fellow here I sold him a 2012 GMC HDX Grille Guard and he had a 2006 GMC, we took it outside to see if it would line up and he liked how it did so he took it to get welded up.

I sold it for 200$, he said he put 100$ into having it rigged on. Pretty good considering they sell for 800$ new here

I found a brand new polished one for 375obo at a resale shop

What do they sell for in your area? The one I sold was a new Powder Coated Black one, if yours is stainless 375 isn't bad. I'd try a bit less.
