I know. I really want to swap in some 4WD quick struts by Rancho. I found one thread where a guy did it, but he is no longer active on this forum. Every other thread I have read is just with people "guessing" whether or not they think it'll work.

I just did it yesterday with 4x4 bilsteins set at 1.75 (3rd perch). I'll post pics

update:
too high for my liking -- gonna drop it down a setting
fyi-this is with 2" block in the rear
tires are 305/45r22 (32.8")

I never updated this thread. I did it with mine about a year and a half ago and it worked great!

What set up did you end up going with Gator? How has it held up?

Sold the truck a couple days ago. For those interested, the lift held up great for years without issue. So anyone who says it won't work has no idea what they're talking about. Just replace old worn parts with MOOG and change the sway bar end link to the longer 4WD version and you'll never have a problem.

Gator, I currently have 2wd coilovers with 2.5 inch leveling kit, but want to replace with 4x4 rancho quicklift struts. Will this increase the height to sit at the same height as a leveled 4x4? Also, when you did this did you swap out the rear blocks?

Hello everyone. Finally found this topic haha. So I recently installed a brand new 6 inch RC lift on my 2wd 06 f150 and instead of using the strut spacer I used the lifted struts that are made for the 4wd but my angles don’t look so good on my UCA, I also installed brand new MOOG UCA’s. Do y’all think I’ll be good or what do y’all recommend doing so my angles won’t look so bad ?

wondering if you got the angle to sit better? I’m looking to do the same on my 2wd but worried about the height difference. How does the whole truck look?
