Default 4.6L Tick

Hello Everyine my 4.6L engine has a pretty obvious tick, it doesn't go away once warm, and stays on during driving. Ran my code reader nothing comes up, looing for some guidance on this if possible.

check the torque of your plugs, could have a loose one.

A loose spark plug would be my guess also.

stethoscope...

Also post a video f the noise while quickly snapping the throttle....

Doesnt sound like spark plugs to me....
But if it is, gently rest your finger tips on the top flat spots on each coil assy while vehicle is running.
If its a lose sparkplug you will feel pulses / vibrations on the top of the coil on the effected cylinder, if your hand is trained to feel these subtleties...

Sounds way more severe to me that just a sparkplug.
Internal.....
timing chain, rod knock, etc...
Rap the throttle quickly...

How many miles?
Was oil changed religiously?

Throttle snapping video

Has aprox 211k Miles, only owned very shortly, so I can't give you the history on the oil changes past my ownership. Work vehicle purchase, the truck was quite as a kitten purring the day of purchase, and literally the 1st it was put in service, the engine started knocking as soon as we got on site. There was enough oil, and it looked pretty clean.
Some additional notes, the engine oil filter housing gssket was changed after it was discovered oil in the coolant. That seemed to resolve the oil in coolant issue. Another note the truck generally idles decently, on rainy days it seems to idle rougher, and also some white smoke from exhaust on those same days, snapped the throttle and no smoke today, which was sunny. Hopefully this info helps.

Yes I did touch them, but I couldnt tell if there was any differece, could be that I am not trained enough to tell, I was planning on changing the plugs regardless as I have a set and new coils as well.

With the engine running apply pressure w/fingers to the top of coil. If you feel a pulsating sensation that is a loose plug.

you “touched” them (to feel for movement? or you “re-torqued” them (to ensure properly installed)?

i’m guessing this will only confirm noise is from the engine, but i’d still take time to remove
belt and briefly test it it (don t overheat it). if noise is gone you know issue is from an accessory.
