Default 4.6L biggest tires

Hey, I have a 05 f150stx with the 4.6L. I ordered a leveling kit from rough country 2.5" front 1" rear with shocks. It allows for 35s. Will that be a problem with the smaller motor or should I get the 35s.

They dont tell you it allows for 35s with a 4wd, if your truck is 2wd you can only go with 33s

If your truck is 4x4 35's should fit.

He's wanting to know if he'll still have enough power to get up & go with the 35's, not if they'll fit. It really depends on your gearing, I have 3.73s with 33's & even that is too slow for me. (I have the 4.6) then again, mine is a supercrew.

You shouldnt really be wanting to race anyone, its a truck. But ive got about 35s on mine, although i have the 5.4 FX4, i noticed a big difference in power starting off.

There is an axle code on the sticker on your driver's door jamb.

Yeah I won't be racing anyone. I just want to still be able to pass cars and get on onramps with some power though. And how do I figure out the proper gear ratio that I will need for the 35s.
