F-150 Time Bomb??
Best friend has a 2004 Screw w/5.4 3 valve. Suffers from unknown battery draw of .10 ma, just enough to kill the battery in about 36 hours. In trying to find it we discovered a 'strange ticking' noise in the back passenger corner of the cab. When the battery is hooked up it ticks like an old time windup alarm clock. disconnect the battery and it stops. It seem to come from behind the back corner plastic cover hiding the shoulder belt area. We did the disconnect the battery and connected a small bulb between the ground cable and the neg battery post. It lights dimly and flickers at a very steady rate. Each fuse was pulled one at a time - and the light never went out. The truck has been locked and secure so we don't really think it is a bomb but whatever it is kills the battery (brand new battery).
