4.6 Towing - No Pain No Gain
Towing a Crown Victoria for a buddy tonight. Thought you guys might want to see how she pulls. I love making her beg for mercy.
This first one is an uphill on-ramp at full throttle.
And this is taking off on a steep hill. Felt sorry for it so I only went half throttle. Speed limit is only 40 anyway.

What was your figured combined weight on the tow? Also do you feel I could tow my 4000lb 68 roadrunner only on slight grade roads to a car show without holding up traffic too much? The event is 200 miles away, I have the same truck as you

For sure you could pull it. This Crown Vic is maybe 4000 lbs + stuff in it and I'm pulling it on an aluminum trailer. Last summer I pulled a Honda Pilot (4300 lbs) on a heavy steel trailer (2200 lbs) for a total trailer weight of over 6500 which is over the recommended trailer weight for my truck, albeit by a few hundred pounds. I pulled that from Terre Haute, IN to Tulsa, OK. Slow, but it did great!
