I took out my cats and put in hi-flows about 8 months ago and they sounded great and I had not problems. I just recently got an edge programmer for the towing setting and to run a little stronger and after a week of using the programmer my check engine light has come on and the code its throwing is referring to the catalytic converts. I rest my truck to the stock settings and the code goes away. Anybody have an idea of what it may be or if I can still run my programmer with my hi-flows?

The canned tunes from the Edge are meant to work on a stock truck. When you reset the PCM the codes will go away until tripped again. If it is just a cat efficiency code it probably isn't hurting anything, but if you want to make sure everything is in line talk to Bill at PHP about getting some custom tunes and converting that Edge.

Bill is the man who wrote the tunes for Edge and now custom tunes Edge devices turning them into what is called a Gryphon. Check out their forums and call and talk to them and you'll get more information than you'll ever need about modifications and tuners.
